PetSmart, Target, & CVS 6/17

I am stoked about the deals I snagged today!

At PetSmart:
3 Nylabone edible bones @ .99 each; I had 3 $1.50 coupons. I got an overage of $1.53.
1 bottle of floor cleaner on sale @ .99; I had 1 $1.00 coupon. I got an overage of .01.
I found a Fisher-Price See & Bark Spinner on clearance for $2.97 (originally $12.99). I am in love with the Fisher-Price pets stuff; it's just too cute! Daisy got a bowl 'o' bones earlier in the year and she loved it too.
The overage paid for part of the toy. The remainder, OOP, was $1.90.

I will be donating the cleaner to the Humane Society. I'm not much for all those conventional cleaning supplies; I think baking soda and vinegar and hot water do the trick! We are planning to visit the Humane Society this weekend. They also need paper for the copier, and I have plenty from a deal a few years ago. So we'll bring up a few donations and go play with the animals.

At Target:
a 2-liter of Diet Coke for FREE. We received a coupon in the mail because our store just renovated to include a grocery section.

At CVS:
A Schick Hydro 3 razor @ $8.00. I had a $3 coupon. I paid the remaining $5 with ECB I rolled over. I paid the .54 cents tax on a CVS gift card I earned from SBKC. I got a $4 ECB back.

Daisy loves her toy already!

CVS & Giant Eagle

Today's errands left me with 2 free Hershey Aerated Bars from CVS, thanks to free item coupons I printed off.

At Giant Eagle I got 4 DiGiorno small pizzas. They were on sale for 4/$12, buy 4 and get an automatic $2 off, plus I had 3 $1 coupons & 1 $2 coupon. So 4 pizzas for $5.

I got 2 boxes of Frosted Mini Wheats with fruit in the middle. Priced at $2.50 each, plus I had a $1 coupon & a BOGO free coupon. So 2 boxes for $1.50.

Also a little birdie on A Full Cup tipped me off to a deal. Rhodes Warm & Serve Multigrain rolls are being discontinued and are 50% off, or $1.49. I had .75 coupons which doubled to make this FREE! I got 2 packages. I have 2 coupons left if I can find anymore at another store.

CVS & Giant Eagle 1/16

I'm back in the game! :)

After watching TLC's show, Extreme Couponing, I've gotten inspired to get back to couponing again. I cleaned out my coupon stash, keeping the small amount that had not yet expired, and dumpster dived for a few inserts to begin building my collection back up. Here is what I nabbed today.

CVS
Crest Pro-Health toothpaste, on sale for $2.99
Used $1 q
Paid $2.20 OOP
Got back $2 ECB

Giant Eagle
Newspaper, $2.00
Wasa Rye Crackers, $2.79
2 Horizon Milks, $1 each, used 2 $1 off q's=FREE
Trial Size Secret, .99, had $1 q which the cashier had to bring down to .99. However, it doubled, so *they* paid *me* .99 to take this!

8 Smart Ones Meals, $2 each=$16.00-promotion wyb 6 you get one free=$14.00, plus I had 2 .50 off wyb 4 coupons which doubled=$12.00, or $1.50 each

Total before coupons would have been $24.85, but I paid $13.85 :)

Daisy couldn't help but find her way into the picture!

Ah ha, a loophole! CVS 3/1

I love after-holiday bargains. Yesterday I discovered that the Valentine's goodies at CVS are now marked down to 90% off. While the selection is greatly picked over, I was able to find a few things...

Like... a chocolate Palmer's Double Crisp dog for .29, a heart full of M&Ms for .25, small boxes of chocolate for .09, a bigger XOXO sweethearts gift bag for .25 (will use for DH's anniversary gift- the 5th anniversary of when we started dating is this month), a small Valentine's bag for next year for .09, and some gummy bears for .09. At the last minute I noticed that the gummy bears are a Gold Emblem product, and I had been getting $1.00 off 2 GE products coupons from the ECC scanner... I was not sure if it would still work since it was under $1.00, but I tried it anyway... and it worked!

So today I forced hubby to take me back to CVS after running a few errands and going to dinner... Stupid me I can't find my $7.99 from the EARinse deal, so I had to pay OOP... But today I got:
4 bags of GE gummy bears @ .09 each
Gain detergent @ 5.99
-1.00 GE coupon

Got $2.00 back in ECB for the Gain.

I wish I had the time and energy to get my coupons better organized and hunt for more details, but that will do for now.

CVS goodies 2/21

Got a few steals at CVS today!

10 cans of Bumble Bee tuna @ .49 each -(2) mfc for 1.00 off 5 cans= 2.90 (29 cents a can!)

EARinse @ 7.99

Air Wick Freshmatic @ 5.99-5.00 mfc=.99

pack of gum for DH=1.49

and then the clearance Valentine's Day goodies!

1 heart necklace @ 75% off=.75

Harry Potter valentines @ 75% off=.75

heart shaped pillow @ 75% off=1.49

rose heart shaped wreath @ 75% off=1.25

I used 10.50 in ECB & paid 8.32 OOP. I got back 7.99 for the EARinse. I will also get reimbursed for the EARinse for our Flex Spending Account.

Tuna for .29 a can was a steal! I'll be making sandwiches for our lunches. The Air Wick will go up in the laundry room where the litter box is. Stinky! The valentines come with bookmarks which I'm excited about because I love Harry Potter. I'll save the valentines for next year's students. The wreath is a start to our house's holiday decor. I'll put it on the front door next year. The pillow & necklace will be my niece's First Communion gifts. I think she'll love the pillow- it's pink, fluffy, and lacy, and she is such a girly girl.

Sorry for the quality of the picture- I used my web cam because I couldn't find my digital camera, and I didn't want to wake hubby from his pre-work nap to ask him where it is.
